Ammie T. Nguyen

Ammie T. Nguyen is debt attorney of counsel in the McCarthy Law PLC Jackson, Mississippi office.

Ms. Nguyen was born in Vietnam. At the age of 5, her family came to the States. Ms. Nguyen has been a resident of Mississippi for almost 19 years. Ms. Nguyen is bi-lingual, speaking fluently in both English and Vietnamese. Ms. Nguyen graduated with honors when she received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Mississippi College. At Mississippi College, she was given an award for “Most Outstanding Senior in Political Science.”

Ms. Nguyen graduated with honors when she received her Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Mississippi College School of Law (MC Law). While in law school, Ms. Nguyen served as Student Ambassador in the Office of Admission at MC Law; a Senator-at-Large on the MC Law Student Bar Association; Secretary and 1L Recruiter of MC Law Chapter of the Christian Legal Society Secretary; 2014-15 MC Law Director of the STAR Mentor Program; and a pupil of the Charles Clark Inns of Court. As a law student, Ms. Nguyen enhanced her legal education and legal experience by interning for a Mississippi Supreme Court Justice, Mission First Legal Aid Clinic, Rankin County Youth Court, and several law firms.

Ms. Nguyen is co-founder and managing partner of Khalaf & Nguyen, PLLC law firm in the capital city of Jackson, Mississippi.  She is a member of the Mississippi Bar and has been admitted to practice law in the courts of Mississippi; the Supreme Court of Mississippi; the Mississippi Court of Appeals; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; and the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi.
