Sterlin Mesadieu is the founder of the Mesadieu Law Firm with three office locations—Okemos, Sterling Heights, and Bangor, MI.  Sterlin’s practice primarily focuses on the following areas: municipal law, business formation and litigation transactional law, domestic relations (divorce, custody, child support, etc. . .), real estate, and probate.

Recently, the City of Bangor has retained the Mesadieu Law Firm to serve as its Interim City Attorney.   Among other obligations, Sterlin provides legal advice, consultation to the city council, city manager, and city staff relating to general public law issues.   Further, Sterlin prepares legal opinions, ordinances, resolutions, and additional general legal services as may be requested by the City.

In 2013, Sterlin was elected to the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly for the 16^th Circuit (Macomb County).  The Representative Assembly serves as the final policy-making body of the State Bar of Michigan.

In September 2014, Sterlin has been named a rising star by Super lawyers Magazine.
